In life, it is so easy to get caught up in the ” I want it NOW” attitude. From fast food, photography and the list goes on. We live in a society where waiting is frowned upon. So much to do and so little time. Yes, I am guilty of this also. For so long, I felt that instant gratification was the only way to achieve any sense of happiness. I need to mention something about gratitude as well because it goes hand in hand. “Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos, into order, confusion into clarity. It makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” When you begin to practice gratitude on a daily basis, you then give room to allow patience to work in your life as well. Patience is power. It is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble or suffering without getting angry or upset. The fastest way may not always be the best way in all things. Most times, you cannot force life to give you all the answers, you must let them unfold before you. In order to practice this, you need to have a strong faith in your higher power as well in your sense of self. Think about what you really want in life and don’t sacrifice this for what you may want in the moment. Sometimes, there are events and occasions that cause frustration. This is to be expected but trying to cultivate a good attitude while you wait for a better situation, accepts that if you live for now, the right things will fall into place. Don’t let the fear about your future consume your life. Choose to eliminate any doubts or apprehension. Embrace your confidence and your intuition when it comes to your goals and dreams. Everything that is meant to be will show up at the right time and you have to believe this to be true. It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop. Focus on your talents and prepare while u wait, so that it is not a passive approach to living your best life. Trust in yourself and the active acceptance of your process. Remember the basics and determine to see the hard work, perseverance and dedication manifest into what you believe is suitable and just for your life. Patience is priceless!
