I have spent many years feeling that I should be different than I was. I should have been more disciplined, thinner, smarter and so on. Awareness of self and the belief systems we have is a life’s work. It takes time, patience and commitment to change. I love hard. I am full of sparkle and compassion. Carefree yet intense. ” I, myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.” I have often felt, in the past, that I had to earn my self-worth. An expensive home. Millions in the bank. Straight A’s. The “perfect” body.
In reality, owning my story and making the transition from overwhelmed and inadequate to being ENOUGH is what makes self-acceptance so powerful.
I am enough does not mean that I have to be the best. The strongest. It means that I have the capacity to meet the challenges of life. It does mean that the trust I hold in myself and my soul gives me insight to find my way. There will always be obstacles and moments that cause me to have doubt. I now understand that the purpose is to be the brightest, fullest, most authentic form of myself. “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination” I am a being of light and love.
I AM ENOUGH.
